This goes for me too, my wife and I have been hit with Grinchffindor Grinch Christmas Shirt Sweater increases and then put on month to month. Although my wife is a veteran teacher at Santa Cruz high, and although we have no children, no car, and have a housemate to split the rent, we still feel insecure about our future in this town, and argue all the time about whether we should just up and leave behind our jobs and everything else we’ve been involved with in this community. Imagine how much harder it is for people with less income or larger families. Many are hanging on just one paycheck away from being on the street.
